**PUTRAJAYA, 16 April 2026** – Bateriku (M) Sdn. Bhd. today celebrated another key milestone with the opening of its 250th Pitstop, further strengthening its position as the largest battery service network in Malaysia. The official launch of the 250th Pitstop was officiated by YB Senator Datuk Dr. Fuziah binti Salleh, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Malaysia. Today, Bateriku operates nearly 300 Pitstop locations nationwide, serving not only as battery retail centers but also as service and customer support hubs. From a compliance perspective, applications for the Business License and Advertising Signage Permit were carried out in close collaboration with Perbadanan Putrajaya and the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department in Putrajaya. Through this cooperation, approvals were successfully obtained within the stipulated timeframe, enabling the smooth planning of the official opening of the Precinct 15 Pitstop on 23 February 2026. Precinct 15, Putrajaya is one of the main commercial centers attracting residents from Putrajaya and Bangi, with an estimated population reach of approximately 250,000 people. The area hosts a variety of key sectors including retail outlets, banks, hotels, clinics, convenience stores, fast food chains, food and beverage establishments, as well as government offices and foreign embassies. ![bateriku-250th-pitstop-putrajaya-4.webp](https://strapi.biru.my/uploads/bateriku_250th_pitstop_putrajaya_4_3f4021e50e.webp) The opening of the Precinct 15 Pitstop further strengthens Bateriku’s service offerings in the new Putrajaya market, while providing customers with more service location options in addition to Pitstop Precinct 9 Putrajaya, Pitstop Cyberjaya, Pitstop Bangi, Pitstop Sri Serdang, and Pitstop Kajang. The Precinct 15 Pitstop also introduces a more ready and robust operational approach from day one. This includes offering multiple payment options for battery purchases, such as cash, QR payments, card payments, as well as a “Buy Now Pay Later” scheme via Atome. In addition, Bateriku (M) Sdn. Additionally, the digitalisation of the workshop ecosystem through an integrated data platform is proposed to support more effective monitoring and enforcement. The collaboration also encompasses the implementation of skills enhancement and entrepreneurship programmes to empowerthe local workforce, as well as the involvement ofBHero in consumer advocacy initiatives such as the Skuad Kita Pengguna. At the same time, Bateriku has proposed the inclusion of its products and services in KPDN programmes such as the RAHMAH Programme and NACCOL initiatives. As an initial step, several quick-win initiatives are proposed for implementation within 3 to 6 months. Bateriku believes that this strategic collaboration will deliver significant impact to the public through improved service quality, greater industry transparency, and the creation of skilled employment opportunities, while supporting the national consumer well-being agenda. Bateriku remains committed to enhancing the quality of business management, particularly in automotive after-sales services, workshop operations, and application system development in accordance with government standards and certifications such as SIRIM, ethical practices, and ratings under KPDN. Furthermore, Bateriku supports the implementation of the circular economy, particularly in the management and disposal of used batteries and regeneration processes that comply with guidelines set by the Department of Environment Malaysia, as well as initiatives under the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation.
